Popular playback singer Shruti Ranjani will be the composer for Sathya. The song from the short film, “Soul of Sathya”, was released to mark Independence Day. The song was released today in three languages - Telugu, Hindi and Tamil. Shruti Ranjani is also the lyricist for the Telugu version, while the Hindi and Tamil versions have been penned by Ritesh G Rao and Vivek Rao.

The song beautifully captures the blissful life of a newlywed couple. Swati was brought up by her mother to believe that one day her “prince” would marry her. Though she eventually marries Surya, she is still uncertain about her future with him. Though initially apprehensive, Surya puts her at ease and the two soon lose track of time as they spend their time together.

Meanwhile, in the final act, we find Sai Dharam Tej as a soldier protecting innocents as part of Operation Rakshak in Kupwara. The seamless editing that simultaneously shows Sai Dharam Tej’s battlefield roar and Swati’s pregnancy pain is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful moments in Sathya’s Soul.
